"My family and I were in town to attend a funeral. I am thankful to the management of the hotel for understanding the need for us to check in a little early so that we could change out of our traveling clothes. When your family is grieving, it helps tremendously for others to show you kindness. "

"This is definitely an experience from days gone by. Built in the 1950s, it is the voice of class. The hotel is laid out as a “hotel village”, with multiple buildings that draw interest like a beautiful painting. Even though it is mildy in need of refurbishment, I would not have traded my stay! The huge and uncommonly shaped tub alone, is worth it to see. The staff is absolutely wonderful in totality, (very much appreciated). I will most assuredly return in the future for another enjoyable stay. Thank you Merry Acres Inn for being a reminder of when class was classy!! "
