"Our group of 8 had a wonderful stay at the villa. The property and grounds were pristine. We had the chef prepare our dinners and would highly recommend, he did an excellent job! We also had an unforgettable 6 hour private boat tour of the lake, it's a must do if you stay at the villa! The host Francesco went above and beyond to make our stay an amazing one, and we look forward to staying here on our next trip to Lake Como. Five stars and two thumbs up for this property and host!"

"We had a great time. The house was charming and very comfortable. It is convenient to restaurants coffee shops and the grocery store are all within walking distant. The house was spacious and very nice. Typical European layout. I would definitely stay here again. Como is so beautiful. Blows Hawaii away. Sorry Kapalua, Maui you are now #2 in my heart. Although Sansei Restaurant in Maui is the best restaurant in the world hands down."

"Luigi was very helpful in settling us in. The room and bathroom are very basic…nothing fancy. There is no mirror in the bedroom to help to get ready. There is no counter space in the bathroom either. However it was clean."

Nicola is a fantastic host and went out of his way to help with bookings and recommendations, even calling a restaurant to assist with a difficult booking. "Onze week bij Villa Sassi verliep perfect. Laurence was super vriendelijk en behulpzaam. De locatie, het huis en de tuin waren magnifiek en op ideale afstand van Como-centrum en omgeving. "My wife and I stayed here for close to a week and we loved our stay. The scenery was beautiful and the private garden and walkway made it very easy to visit the town without having to walk in the street. My wife particularly enjoyed the views from each level of the villa and the many amenities offered. The kitchen is fully equipped (although oddly without plates) and so we were able to have a dinner we prepared ourselves, with the amazing view to complete the experience. We will definitely have...

"Beautiful home with two gorgeous terraces. The shower is a bit tight but the main bathroom is overall very nice. Parking is a bit of a challenge but it’s not terrible you just need to orient yourself in the area because there is lots of parking a very short walk from the property. Angelo is an amazing host. Live like a local at this villa!"
