"This was a fantastic find. The property is very unique and memorable with the old pharmacy decor. It is very well located in the old town on the pedestrian street (you do have a short walk with luggage to get to the location). The room was relatively spacious for a European hotel room and very comfortable. I was concerned about noise from the pedestrian street but the shutters were sound proofed and we had no issue with noise. I would encourage any tourist to Coimbra to look at this property for a stay. Coffee, small muffins and apples were available. Although the guest house operates primarily through guests receiving and using codes to the front door and bedrooms, and so we didn’t have a lot of contact with staff, the staff we did meet were very friendly and helpful with recommendations for dining and tourist sites."

"Hotel Oslo is perfectly located to see all of the sights of Coimbra. Caudrigo (sorry unsure of spelling) on reception was so helpful. He gave us a map and told us the best places to visit, and recommend a couple of really good restaurants. We upgraded to a room with a balcony and city views which was lovely. The roof top bar had lovely views and the breakfasts were good. It is on quite a busy road, but this is probably unavailable being this close to the centre and near the railway station. "

"All amenities were conveniently available. Walking to the main shopping, restaurant, and sightseeing area was very doable and reasonably close. Recommendations provided by front desk was very informative and helpful."

"Five stars are not really adequate. Supplementing its historical charm and surrounding gardens, the Quintas staff, from reception to the artist in the kitchen are superb. A well deserved shout out to Joao and Pedro. "
