"This restored farmhouse is great. Fruit trees and garden paths and even goats to feed. The pool was a bonus. Off the beaten path but we’ll worth the effort. The manager was lovely and helpful and I would recommend this property to everyone. One note the thresholds are low but even our 6’4” guest adapted. Great for a family or large group. Lots to entertain the youngsters."

"Stunning property with a view that will take your breath away. We were two families of 4 and the adults took one room each and the 4 kids slept in the large third room. Close to all the wonderful river beaches. Stayed 8 days. Manuela a great host. Pool is fantastic and there is a separate BBQ poolside if that is your thing. The road is quite rough getting there so if you hire a car then err on the SUV side and give it a clean before you return it! Don’t trust the Google map directions near...

"Charming house, very clean and well equipped. The small pool is perfect for toddlers that don’t know/are learning how to swim! Our daughter loved it! Wonderful setting in great location! Jane is the best! She is the sweetest and most helpful host! I totally recommend staying in casa de Alagoa! We had such relaxing days, I will definitely would like to come back with my family and/or friends :)"
