"SS is a great little Basque town on the coast. We learned so much about Basque culture. We were there for 31/8 memorial celebrations. And an independence rally a week later. Food was lovely, bar hopping in the old town. Beaches also lovely. Getaria is very central to everything. Old town & Gros are a few minutes walk as is the supermarket & other shops. Apartment was clean & had everything you might need. Only downside is there are no windows in either bedroom, which was ‘stuffy’ & needed...

"This little apartment was surprisingly spacious and very comfortable for our family of four. The location in the old town was very convenient for the restaurants, shops and pintxos bars but this also keant it was very noisy at night .We arrived a little early and was pleased to be allowed into the flat by the very helpful manager. There is a lift currently being installed so you have to go up stairs to access the apartment. Overall we were very happy with our stay! "

"Kepa's apartment is in an excellent location. It's near everything you'd want to see in a few days. There are several great restaurants around the corner, and the beaches are very close. Old town is also close. They were great hosts, providing recommendations to restaurants, which we all enjoyed. We especially appreciated their recommendation to check out a cider house, the specialty of that area. Thanks!"

"Beautiful peaceful location and lovely property in rural location but make sure you take plenty of groceries as there are no restaurants for miles around. It is very isolated but this may be part of its attraction for some people. The countryside is extremely hilly and there appear to be no rights-of-way so this is not a good spot for dog walking."
