"Excellent 4 night stay at Azul Grand. Service in every department was prompt, friendly, and met all our needs. The views and sunsets are amazing. Beautiful pools and spa. Make sure you reserve speciality restaurants early in your stay to take advantage of the choices. Very close to Isla Ixtapa ferry and Playa Linda. "The hotel is well located in Ixtapa. The food was excellent. We decided to switch hotels to go to another beach (without as many motorized vehicles running in the sea - not under control of the hotel) and they supported us a 100 percent. "The property was nice the staff was great! Some areas from the outside needed some touch up. With all honesty I did not like the food at all, it was so bland I was expecting Mexican food but it was nothing like I expected it. "

"I really love my stay at the Azul Resort. The only thing that I didn’t like was at the time of check in and also at the time of check out. The receptionists was rude and she didn’t made me feel welcome at time of my arrival. I made two reservations under my husband’s name and some how there was a confusion in the reservations. It is such a beautiful, romantic property and the food was great. Other reviews may say the food was adequate or lacking, but they are being over critical because you absolutely have so many options and everything is so fresh. Ceviche daily was my plan and it was amazing enjoying two variations. We had a hiccup with our room and they promptly switched us to another. The staff go above and beyond. The excursions pick you up at the resort so there is no worry there. We took a taxi to & from Zihua and had an incredible day there as well. AMAZING EXPERIENCE!!"

"Based on the price, I thought this hotel was too good to be true. Don't believe it. The location is perfect, with the beach right out your door. The grounds are clean and well-kept. They provide beach towels (make sure you hang on to them to return at the end of your stay), and water coolers are throughout the property. Multiple restaurants are within walking distance. I highly recommend this restaurant and hope to be back!"

"Our stay was absolutely incredible from start to finish. The staff were so kind, and the majority remembered our names - truly, we felt important amongst all the other guests, which was unbelievable. The food was all delicious. There were frequent activities. The environment is absolutely stunning. I will without a doubt be back. "
