"Our group of seven plus three dogs stayed in the farmhouse for a week during the summer and were very comfortable there! The house is large and very private, and we wish that it had been cooler weather so that we could have enjoyed a fire in the inside fireplace. We did somewhat miss having a dishwasher, but we survived! "It appeared the place was not cleaned before we arrived. Bedsheets and towels were dirty, broken glass on the floor in two very different places of the house, 1 of the three queen-sized beds we couldn’t even use due to the frame being cracked and not being stable. Maintenance came out the next morning and said they couldn’t fix it so we had people sleeping on the couch and floor because the bed wasn’t usable, oven was filthy. "We liked the property. The pond was wonderful, the fire pit was conveniently located close to the cabin, and there was more than enough furniture for even very large groups. We did have to share the kayaks with the other cabin and they had a lot of people in their group. If you own your own you might consider bringing them. "We had an excellent visit. The house is located near the trailheads of four different trails inside Whiterock. It was clean and the kitchen had everything non-food that we needed for dinner and breakfast. It was great to getaway from everything. If we really needed cell service, (which we didn’t) we found that there was a signal just 50 yards up the hill behind the house. The SoloStove worked great for hotdogs and s’mores. We look forward to our next visit!"
