"I greatly enjoyed my stay at the Donizetti House. The property was extremely comfortable and totally clean when I arrived. The neighborhood was nice as well, quieter than the more touristy parts of Catania. The host, Alessandro, was also extremely helpful. He not only saved me a parking spot for the check-in and waited late after my flight was delayed, he also recommended local activities and nearby live music in Catania. Would stay again!"

"We had a wonderful stay! The apartment is beautifully decorated and very clean. It is located at the end of a dead end street so plenty of easy parking. I would recommend having a car for this apartment. We had a tremendous thunderstorm on our first night and had a very short blackout. Unbelievably our host came over through the downpour to make sure we were ok. There is a large grocery store about 5 minutes away to pick up supplies. We had a great dinner out at Le Serre only a few minutes away....

"The villa is an old family home and is situated within a lemon orchard. It has fabulous views to Etna and the sea, with a small stony beach, not crowded, in 1 km distance. "This is not a home at all, it’s an abandoned hostel in the ghetto. Do not rent here unless you can’t afford a tent to sleep in Half the units are outside and half are in. Dirty, rundown, infested, warehouse hostel that should be condemned. Rented for 4 days and My entire party of 8 left after a few hours. Make this Owner provide pictures of this place before you book. DO NOT STAY HERE UNLESS YOUR HOMELESS"

On est ensuite séduit par la maison en terrasses surplombant la mer, et l’accès direct et rapide, (à pieds 1-2 mn), à une plage de galets. On passe un agréable séjour dans cette maison simple mais chaleureuse. Bien située pour rayonner (Taormina, Etna, Catane, Syracuse). Idéal pour le calme et le dépaysement, sans oublier l’accueil sympathique de Rosario qui parle en plus français!"
