"Useful having a car park next to hotel, free for guests. Good roast in the evening. Staff were very welcoming at reception. Sadly, they had a problem with the heating while we there. A heater had already been placed in our room and situation explained to us. But the bathroom was too chilly for a shower....brrrrrr. it was a nice place for a one night stay, close to high street shops, but quiet at night, so we slept well. "

"I booked for one night; a Friday. Really easy to find and loads of free parking. Reception staff were kind, knowledgeable and helpful. The room was perfect; very clean with adjustable heating, hair dryer and extra fan. Super comfy bed with no outside noise to be heard at all; even though my room was at the front by the pub next door. I didn't have breakfast but I only had to go next door to the pub if I wanted it. I will be staying again "

Fabulous and friendly

"Very friendly staff made this a thoroughly lovely experience. From the glass fo wine handed to you on arrival, you are left with the impression that the staff simply can't do enough for you. Excellent food in the restaurant (supper and breakfast) with prompt service thoughout. Even thought this was only a business stay, I would highly recommend this hotel to people visiting the area."
