"My father and I stayed for a couple nights to end our European tour and it was lovely. Check in was a breeze and communication during the process was excellent. Short walk to public transit, museums, city center. Sitting out in the terrace with my dad watching boats go by was so enjoyable!"

"The host was wonderful, however the property is beyond tiny. It is impossible for 4 people to fit and absolutely no where to put luggage, toiletries, etc. Unfortunately, due the size we actually couldn’t even stay a single night. The host did provide a refund for cleaning services since we were there less than a few hours. Last comment is that it is not accessible without a car."

"The boat is very basic but is in a great location not far from the centre of old Amsterdam. (Ignore Diemen as the location). It’s very cheap for Amsterdam which makes up for its basic amenities. You can make use of facilities in nearby cafes and the Public library. The surrounding area is just off the tourist route so you get to see how locals live. Cees was a great host, very accessible and happy to help out and give advice."

"We wanted a different experience than the usual apartment and Han’s boat was it. Very clean and comfortable but requires some agility to move around…after all, it is a boat. Han was a great host and the location is a short walk to just about everywhere we wanted to go. I highly recommend Bamboo Boat if visiting Amsterdam"

"Wonderful experience. Martyn was very hospitable. The location is quiet and across from the zoo. Waking up to elephants and zebras was incredible. We enjoyed a nice hit tea on top of the boat in the mornings while we watched boaters and swimmers come by. We truly enjoyed this property and it’s fully stocked kitchen supplies. "

"This houseboat is not fancy - but it is as comfortable as being at a friend's cabin - we didn't want to leave. We had not stayed in Amsterdam before, so wanted our first few nights to be something unique. The boat was perfect! It was close walking to everything, yet it was quiet and relaxing once inside. "If your looking for the quintessential Amsterdam experience this is it! The house boat is close to everything while still being is a quiet residential neighborhood. Robertino is as gracious a host as you could ask for and will do what ever he can to make your stay in Amsterdam wonderful. We cannot recommend this houseboat highly enough. "We absolutely loved our stay on this houseboat! It’s much bigger than it looks and the host was kind enough to provide us with a bottle of wine. The location is a much quieter area that is about a 15 minute tram ride into the center of Amsterdam so it was nice to escape the bustling city at night with the option of restaurants and shops still nearby. Overall, highly recommend if you are able to!"

"Very helpful and friendly staff!! Outside city Center but only 1 tram to downtown that has regular reliable service - takes about 15min. 20 euro Uber ride from old town. Less than 20 min to airport. Had a 2 bedroom and every room has TV. Nice area for jogging with lots of trees and grassy areas. Would definitely return! "
