"I stayed w my aunt in the casita. We loved the charming space, heated bathroom floor, fireplace, and beautiful location. Excellent communication from the folks who work here. "

"Front desk clerk MARIA went ABOVE and BEYOND to help us during this stay. I booked this room for my husband and son last minute due to snow and dangerous travel conditions to come back home that evening after they got out of work in Los Alamos so I paid for this room with my card and their policy is to have the card present that room was purchsed with, so of course they did not have my card. Maria allowed my husband in the room and allowed him to get warm after shoveling snow since 4:30 AM and it was now 1PM. She was able to call her supervisor and emailed me a form to authorize them to use my card without me or the card being present. I was very thakful for her generosity because she could ha e refused to let him get i to the room u til that whole process was completed but she has a big heart and she treated us with kindness and understanding. So i want to let this place of business know that she is worthbevery penny and should probably be given a raise because she is one in a million! Thabk you Maria. "

"Lovely home in a beautiful place. We enjoyed the screened porch and the bedrooms with their own bathrooms were perfect for our 3 adult children and their partners. It was a great "home base" for visiting our friends in Abiquiu and at Ghost Ranch, shopping in Santa Fe, and hiking at Bandelier and in the Carson National Forest. We also enjoyed some quiet days doing art projects and birding around the house. A highlight was heading out to the road late one night to photograph the incredible night sky and catch a glimpse of the northern lights. Brooks was kind and thorough in all communications and this home will be my first choice should we plan another family trip to Abiquiu. "

"Abiqui, NM is a stunningly beautiful area - and the Viento del Rio is, too. Situated on the Chama River, the casita has just about everything one would need for a perfect getaway. Sitting by the fire - either inside or out - is the epitome of relaxing. And the stars at night - one almost feels like you can reach out and touch them. "
