"Comfortable rooms. The bed was slightly uncomfortable but not awful. The staff was friendly and polite. The food in their dinner restaurant was very good. I had the goat pie and it was delicious. Breakfast was very good and the wait staff was super helpful. Would absolutely stay again. "

The highlight of the stay, apart from the amazing food, is the staff. The three team members that looked after us were kind, polite and attentive. "Great location with great staff. Food very good but pricey. No elevators which is not ideal when you’re on the 4th floor with a big bag. Rooms were freezing cold when we got there although they did warm up eventually. Could only stand up on one side of the room due to the ceiling slope. Overall a good stay with a few surprises. "

"What a sweet spot to stay - run by a family who lives in-house downstairs & provides immediate service when you need it. Lovely drawing & dining rooms, bar for whisky tastings & breakfast area with homecooked (and included) breakfasts. Amenities were great, rooms large & cost."
