"The B&B was a last minute booking to break a journey up. So glad we selected this property. The house was very well presented. Rooms had everything you could need including plenty of space. We opted for breakfast and that was excellent value. Despite the property being located next to a busy main road it was really well insulated for sound with very little to no disturbance. The area had lots of routes and walks plus the pub opposite was really hospitable for an evening meal and drink. "

"It was absolutely fine nice hotel nice rooms only downside is the hotel due to its town center location doesn’t have a carpark but there a carpark 5 minutes walk away. Also you can park outside for an hour so you don’t have to walk with your bags "

"The type of home stay that Tom offers is one of the joys travelling, particularly as a solo walker. Tom is an excellent host and his cottage is beautiful. He has thought of everything to make his guests comfortable and as a walker I was very happy to have a soak in the bath and be offered laundry facilities. Thanks again Tom :) "

"We had a short (one night) stay but thought the hotel was great. We had free parking right outside our room which came with standard amenities and was spacious. Every member of staff was so friendly and helpful, just so accommodating. We were ready to book in for a family swim session but were so pleased it was free as we were guests, the pool area is lovely and has a lovely hot tub/ sauna. They provided all towels for the spa too so no need to bring your own from your room. We booked in the restaurant and had no issue booking in with a high chair for our 1yr old, we ordered a light bite for her and the chef was happy to make it smaller for her - they offered this without us requesting. Breakfast was great, help yourself to fruits/drinks/toast and then order a large plated breakfast from the menu - lots of choice and all really tasty. The only thing was that our room was absolutely boiling and we could only open a patio door to let some air in, which was fine until we wanted to sleep as it was a fairly climbable wall by the outside road and didn’t feel it was wise to leave it open all night while we slept. Perhaps there was a way to keep it ajar without it being opened from the outside and we didn’t realise. Overall though, the staff were just super friendly and provided the best customer service, it really makes such a difference when staff are genuinely helpful. "

"Had a lovely holiday at Meadow End Barn celebrating my 70th birthday with family.Property clean and well equipped,although a washing line would have been useful.Coralie and villagers very friendly and welcoming.Had a couple of meals at the local pub,very friendly staff and very accommodating for disabled members in my party. Would recommend Meadow End Barn."
