"They were in the midst of doing renovations so it was a bit dirty around the main areas of the hotel, but the kitchen and rooms were clean. The pool area definitely needed to be cleaned more often due to the amount of guests/kids. There was dirty towels lying around and people's hair and the hot tub was VERY foamy and needed a good shock of chemicals. It wasn't very appealing to swim but the kids LOVED the waterslide. "The staff here is excellent. You have to remember this is an old hotel therefore some things are run down. They do need to keep more utensils in the kitchen units. We have stayed here numerous times and have had no problems"
