"A Paris favourite but the upgrading works put a tiny toilet next to the bed sharing the intimacy of the lavatory with you when your partner used it. A dreadful error in design which could spoil an excellent hotel. The room - overlooking the Abbey - was otherwise splendid, but the toilet will put me off next time. Put them in the bathroom not next to your pillow!"

"Hotel was modern and fashionable. We dined in Pimpan restaurant one night for convenience, which was lovely with live music. The hotel has lots of ‘designery’ touches especially the gym which is pretty cool. The rooftop bar was unfortunately closed as it was out of season but the views from the roof are fantastic and it will be a great place for drinks in the summer months. Breakfast is a little chaotic but it’s ok although coffee service is a little slow. Rooms are comfy and clean although...

"The location was excellent for taking trains at Gare Montparnasse. Our room was clean, quiet, and modern but postcard sized. We could only open one suitcase at a time. The other had to sit in the closet. While there is an elevator, you will have to carry bags up 2 flights of steep stairs to get to reception. As long as you are ok with that it’s a great place to stay. The neighborhood has lots of active restaurants and is less expensive than other areas of Paris. "
