"Old school and old building. Excellent location and views, spacious rooms, fine service. The amenities were ok. The main issue is smoking. A non smoking hotel that hands out matches in every room, what do you think it’s going to happen? If you’re a smoker it’s for you. For me it was always an exercise in opening the windows to get the smell out of the room and close them quickly when the suicidal monkey next door smoked in their balcony"

"This was a beautiful 5 star hotel. The property is gorgeous. The room is small but lovely- nice bathroom and bathtub. We had a fantastic dinner at the gourmet restaurant. Outstanding. The server was lovely. We took their shuttle into town and that was great. Got to the market and did some shopping. Concierge super helpful also. My only comment is I did not like their pillows! "Had an amazing 5 night stay at the hotel. The interior is beautiful and clean. Our stay coincided with my girlfriend's 30th birthday and the staff went above and beyond to make the day special for her. The spa facilities are also great and the staff were very attentive and welcoming. The hotel is in an ideal location and great for shopping and proximity to restaurants. I can't recommend the hotel enough 10/10. "
