"This is the first visit to the imperial Torquay but will definitely be going back. The hotel is like it has been plucked out of a poirot movie, grand staircases, Chesterfield sofas, big wingback chairs, beautiful, right up my street. Had a double deluxe with a sea view and the room was huge, and spotlessly clean. 2 comfy chairs to take in the sea view, robes and slippers, toiletries and plenty of tea coffee and bottled water. The bar was reasonably priced, did not have the breakfast so can't...

"We had a lovely stay in a comfortable and spacious room overlooking the estuary. Our room had a small table and two chairs as well as a side table for hot water kettle and tea and coffee fixings. There was plenty of room for two of us with a gorgeous view. "

Aircon was nice, but the rooms are pretty much identical to all other hotels, no character and very small, no parking on site, and not much accessibility for disabled (on a hill) but was comfortable and would stay again..security was good with entry card systems for lifts etc..
