"Such a beautiful, reconditioned traditional Malay house set amidst rolling padi fields. The owner, Michaela, was incredibly knowledgeable and friendly and went out of her way to meet all our needs. She also makes the most delicious home-made sour dough bread!"

"The resort is rather out of the way, being on top Langkawi's highest mountain, Gunung Raya. The exterior of the resort is in need of upgrading, but the rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. The few staff there are exceedingly helpful and conscientious, helpful with any requests I had. I would recommend a short stay here for any nature enthusiasts or photographers, who would no doubt enjoy the diverse Flora & Fauna around the mountain. "Hotel Green Town is not at the address given. We were told that there was no booking for us. We were forced to pay RM110 for one night despite no WiFi, no bath towels, no bath soaps, no aircond control. It was too cold for sleep and lots of mosquitoes.
