The hotel is connected to Bugis MRT and Bugis Junction so it's easy to get around the city and there's a ton of food and shops nearby. It's a short walk from Haji Ln and the Sultan Mosque. The immediate area in general felt pretty safe. The entrance to the hotel is hard to find at first if you take the train and some of the entrances are key card only.
