"This is the second time we have stayed at V Hotel Bencoolen. The rooms are very clean but on the small size for two people. It does have a nice swimming pool and laundry machines. The metro station is one door down with restaurants and a food court nearby. The staff are friendly and very helpful. "

"The hotel itself was fine . The rooms are a bit small . The staff were really good. The location is great . A short walk to the subway station. We got off the cruise ship ,500 meters to the subway and 3 stops to the hotel (just tap your credit card for the fare) . It was 1 hour to the airport from the hotel . Very close to china town and short ride to gardens by the bay . Quite ish location ,not a lot of shops around but potential noise from restaurants across the street (I never heard them). "

"We liked the location of this property, along the Singapore River, very walkable and close to entertainment and transportation. The property itself is a little out dated and could use modernization, but is clean and staff is friendly. We recommend this property if you do not want to spend all your vacation dollars on the accommodations."
