The views across the Exe are stunning and the extensive grounds beautifully kept. We plan to come back next summer so we can use the beautiful pool and croquet lawn. "Fabulous house bang in the middle of Axminster. Lived in Axminster for 6 years and knew where this was but not realised the size of the house. Back for the weekend to see friends, etc. This is an exquisite properly. Amazing room and cosy guest lounge so you don’t have to sit on the bed in the room. Great breakfast. Will definitely return "

"Recommend parking in Magdalen Street car park (by the Mecure Hotel) free parking from 6 pm to 8 am (alternative parking in St Mary Arches was expensive). I was surprised at the large number of apparent homeless people gathering in Cathedral Yard right outside of the apartment, quite loud and drinking from first thing in the morning until very late at night and begging for money as you enter end leave the apartment.
