"It was a property where we could truly experience the renowned reputation of Banyan Tree, and the accommodation we stayed in satisfied every member of our family. The friendly service of the staff left a lasting impression. One thing to note is that I had read in several blog reviews that, when choosing a dinner course at the Saffron restaurant, there would be options for appetizers or desserts. "The property was clean and well kept. Staff members were friendly and very helpful. I stayed in the pool access room which was very beautiful. The breakfast options were underwhelming and lacked variety. The food at the main restaurant was however very delicious. The property is located perfectly away from high traffic area but yet still very close walking distance to bangla road and lots of other bars and restaurants. The beach is also within 10 minute walk. "This property was very nice with excellent service. Check in was a little slow, and they did not have our room ready. They had us wait for a little bit but not long. We asked for an upgrade for inconvenience and they upgraded to room with balcony. Room was clean and serviced daily. The shower would clog initially for the 1st several minutes and automatically unclog. Water was hot usually in the morning and some evenings it was warm, nothing to complain about.
