"We chose Leighton House because it had free onsite parking while still being walkable to the center of town. Room was great, very clean and spacious. Great shower. Breakfast was fantastic. Location was great for us - very quiet with little traffic going by, yet still only ~15 minute easy walk into the town, where we went for a spa visit and dinner. Overall, a great stay and I would highly recommend!"

The only thing is that they could do with a better organisation for the breakfast: the wait is too long (45 minutes to get our food, lots of time waiting on line to be seated) and the buffet is way too small for the number of guests (it would continuously run out of food). "The hotel was conveniently located for walking in to town which was a 5 to 6 minute walk. The hotel could do with some TLC as it did look a little shabby in our room. The carpet had stains, the curtains had water damage and it looked like there’d been a small leak in the bathroom as the wood was damaged. Also the outside of the building could do with being jet washed. The staff were all very polite and helpful and the breakfast was great. "

"The property was outstanding from the room & bed to the Wi-Fi and freshly cooked breakfast. Fresh slices of cake were placed in the room daily, which was a lovely personal touch. The room also had smart TV with Netflix available. The owner was amazing with his knowledge and tips for the tourist attractions, eating out and local sites to see. We had laundry washed, folded and put back in room for a small fee. Would highly recommend this property, I doubt you could find better. "
