"Charming and lovely property and owners. Our room was so comfortable and elegant that I'm considering decorating one of our bedrooms to match. Tiny little touches like fresh cookies each day and returning to our room with soft music playing on the radio elevated the experience. I wish that we could have stayed longer, and we will definitely come back. We enjoyed the breakfast, what a great way to start the day! The tasting menu and service at dinner was exceptional. We will definitely be back!"

"Not all rooms are as indicated in the photos. We booked a Deluxe Room based on the photos on the website. Upon arrival we were given a room with low ceilings and only a few beams. We requested the room, as shown on the website, which is called the Early and they did move us to that room. The second night we had no heat in the room and it was cold. "Loved our stay at the Howard Arms! Surprised on the upside by the welcoming and friendly staff, the coziness of the bar and restaurant which was clearly a magnet for the local community, felt authentic and welcoming! Enjoyed a wonderful dinner in the evening, and an incredibly generous breakfast which we did not manage to finish due to the sumptuous dinner the night before! Would definitely recommend for anyone visiting the surrounding Cotswold villages if you want something cosy and authentic! "

"I had an amazing experience at the porch house. The staff was phenomenal. Very friendly and willing to assist as needed. The room was very clean and the bed was pretty comfortable. "It was like adream come true. Even though we did not have a car to get around , the owners gave us a contact so we were picked up when we needed it. Otherwise we walked around the most beautiful cottage area, it was peaceful, relaxing and the owners were very enjoyable. The breakfast every morning was very good. "

"The cottage and the entire property are beautiful and well maintained. The staff is very courteous and accommodating. The cottage is fully stocked with everything a guest may require.
