"Absolutely loved everything about the JW Marriott Le Morne! The setting is dreamy, the sea is so transparent, the staff is kind, caring and efficient. The rooms and common areas/restaurant are so tastefully decorated. I rate this hotel well above some more famous Mauritian establishments, such as Le St Geran. "Lovely place. We had an issue with the air conditioning and after a few complaints we escalated to the manager and he moved us to a new room. He was also very attentive from that point on. The service in the restaurants is friendly but a little chaotic at times - lots of staff running about but not getting a huge amount done. The resort is great though, food and drink exceptional. "

However, there were various aspects which were a little hit and miss meaning I cant rate the hotel excellent overall. "Some of the furniture in the our room was quite worn out and had some kind of dirt all across it. It looked like there was gum or something sticky on the chair so we were unable to use the desk area properly. The mirror in the desk was also quite dirty.
