"The reason why I rated eco-friendliness only 3 is that I could not switch off the heating. I had to open the window with the heating on to have a comfortable sleeping temperature."

Unfortunately restaurant was closed other than for breakfast but it is very central to loads of cafes/restaurants and I enjoyed the walk along the canal to get Sunday lunch. Very pleasant stay and very quiet at night. "

"We always enjoy our stay at the Lawns when we come to Retford to visit family and friends. The rooms are much bigger than average and there is plenty of wardrobe space. Lovely big towels and a good supply of hot drinks and bottled water.Extremely good value."
