"I think the highlight of our stay at the Nines, was the service we received from a waitress at breakfast each morning. She mentioned being 19 years old. She was pleasant and helpful, and gave good recommendations about Portland. The hotel is near Pioneer square and small shopping center. Also saw a Nordstrom and an Apple Store. Did see a number of unhoused. Many Christmas festivities also nearby. Ubered to Jake’s Grill which was excellent!"

"Great rooms, new and clean. Nice area to pull into to drop off bags. Room service on the other hand was terrible. The food was terribly cooked and unimpressive for a 5 star hotel. The service aspect of it was great though. Too many great restaurants in Portland to bother with the in room dining. "
