"This beautiful property maintains its historic charms and the location can’t be beat. The staff is very accommodating and treats the guests with utmost respect. The furnishings need some good cleaning but of course they are trying to keep the old world style which can be a challenge. Breakfast was lovely and the bar service was top notch. "This is a delicious and well-run property with a long history. Everything was perfect..almost. Our suite was very comfortable, but it was VERY dark inside. It was long and the only natural light is from the door (glass). That was our main criticism. The only other little quibble is there was absolutely nowhere to hang our sumptuous robes, and so the cleaning crew (and it WAS a crew) took to hanging them on the shower door or folded (wet) by the tub."
