The staff were welcoming, and the convenient parking added to the experience. I also loved the spacious rooms, which included two bathrooms. "I liked the friendly and helpful staff, nice furnishings in the apartments and adequately stocked with all the necessities for such accommodation! The bed was comfortable with very nice bed linen! Like the proximity to Sandton City and Mandela Sq! All in all I thought the Raphael was very good value for money! I did not like the view from my room.. faced the wall (but at least it wasn’t concrete and plain, but would have preferred a city view! "

"What a lovely guesthouse. Our host and team were brilliant. The room and views from the premises the beautiful. We had the all the amenities we could have needed. Our room and the premises were both very clean. Breakfast was delicious, and the bar well stocked with lots of options. The pool is also a great size with lovely views and kept well maintained. The team also decorated it prettily for Valentines, with lots of lovely touches like balloons, chocolates and roses - what a lovely treat!...

"The venue is stunning, but the service was disappointing. We waiting a very long time for in-room service. Glasses and cutlery were dirty we could see lipstick stain on our glasses. My message bed towel was dirty with makeup & lipstick stains as well, that immediately put me off. The food was very dull and not tasty at at 1/10! "
