"I only stayed 1 night before a flight but no complaints. Pool and beachfront area amazing and staff were very friendly and helpful. Top floor room with views of ocean were great. I may have received the upgrade but wasn’t verbally mentioned so don’t want to be unfair. Recommend as a pre flight hotel to any traveller."

"The hotel is beautiful and rooms are very well decorated. The only drawback is the bathroom shower door which opens outside and the floor becomes slippery after shower. I asked for a nonslip mat but there was none. "

"The building is pristine and the staff seems to speak like they care but lot of inaction. One example is, I called twice to get WiFi working in the room, no follow-ups, then I complained about the WiFi when one of the staff asked me how was my stay. No followups whatsoever. Then when I went down the next day to check-out they wanted to help. At that point things became cold soup for me. "

The furniture and kitchen was run down and the service was below average .. long waiting times and wouldn’t stock basics such as milk (not even to purchase). Quoted room service items and when ordered confirmed wasn’t available. Location wise not ideal but a short taxi ride to Galle / beach / mews / hospital street etc. The photo is not from hotel "

"a good staff and very nice breakfast they ask me if i want up grade and i said yes they told me i have to pay i inform them that i am a gold member with expedia and show the lady your email where you inform me that i can get up grade but she refused other wise i do not mind staying in this hotel again"
