"So beautiful. Staff were so earnest and professional. Directly across the street is Muckross Abbey, a cemetery and ruin that feels mystical, while the resident cows are lowing. We’d visit Colgan’s Bar for dining because the fine dining (Yew Tree) is closed Sunday / Monday, so plan accordingly. Sean in Colgan’s was a pro and wonderful. Breakfast was the best we had in Ireland (of several stays). Massages were lovely, upper back massage was relaxing."

"The hotel itself is wonderful. Service was very good. Staff at the lounge and other restaurants were friendly and very professional. The food was far above expectations. Our only issue was that the room we booked was located on level -1(the basement). It was selected because it was advertised as a garden view with a balcony.
