"What a super hotel. Never stayed in an octagonal room before but it gave the feeling of space. Nicely furnished throughout with plenty of nods to Darwin. Comfortable bed. Breakfast was superb, both for selection of options and friendliness of staff. I haven't had better anywhere (including in a lot of foreign travel!). One small and insignificant point: Our bed/room was adorned with 6 pillows and 10 cushions of varying sizes. Possibly excessive!"

"Excellent Hotel and the Food was Amazing .Staff were fabulous .Breakfast was good as well. However we had a young girl at breakfast who didn’t look up to greet us.we had to ask where we were seated. She never returned to see if we needed more coffee! More training needed. Not a front person. The young girls we had for check in and our evening were Amazing . "

"Extremely spacious and well equipped with one exception, given the unusually warm weather—no AC, some fans, and no screens on windows that do open. The garden has a knockout location right on the river and some rooms also have this gorgeous view, including the huge bathroom with freestanding tub. There are however a lot of stairs. Kitchen is on lowest floor. Entry and dining and parlor are on street level, and there is no bathroom on that floor. So it’s a trek from kitchen to loo. The top floor...
