"This is exactly the place to stay in Marseille, especially in a room with a balcony looking out at the Old Port. Staff is friendly and accommodating, and the hotel is well-kept. There is so much to see at the Old Port and the adjoining historic Panier District, but only a 5 minute walk away is the magnificent Paris-style Blvd La Canebière with its contrasting elegant squares and North African market,"

"The hotel is very good overall. The only problem we had was the taxi reservations. We asked the concierge to reserve a taxi for us, once to go to the restaurant and the other time to go to the airport. Both times the taxi was late, especially the driver of the airport service didn't show up and we had to call for a new one. We almost missed the flight."

"This is a beautiful hotel, conveniently situated in the port of Marseille. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the room was modern, well-maintained, clean and comfortable and we even had a great view of the port. Would definitely recommend! "

"Limited breakfast availability. The restaurant adjacent to the hotel served the worst quality food I encountered in my traveling experience: low quality watered down eggs, unpleasant sausage, water down coffee. It was expensive and abysmal. Most of the staff has basic english speaking skills so it was a challenge to communicate, get accurate directions, etc. "

"This hotel was absolutely charming. The lobby/sitting area was like an old fashioned living room and a nice area to relax in. We were pleasantly surprised to find out we had been upgraded to a Junior Suite and having the extra room and sitting area was lovely. "Conveniently close to airport. My flight was very late arriving due to various delays so I decided to stay at the airport instead of driving home for 2 hours in the dark and rain at 1:30am in the morning. Appreciated the easy check-in, courteous staff, ample parking and the reasonably priced breakfast. Rooms are clean. Didn't regret my last minute reservation. "

Gorgeous property great location

"This was a beautiful 5 star hotel. The property is gorgeous. The room is small but lovely- nice bathroom and bathtub. We had a fantastic dinner at the gourmet restaurant. Outstanding. The server was lovely. We took their shuttle into town and that was great. Got to the market and did some shopping. Concierge super helpful also. My only comment is I did not like their pillows! Please get some down pillows for those of us who feel every lump and bump. Otherwise it was a fantastic stay. The spa and indoor pool looked great but we had a very short stay. I would recommend this property highly. "
