Staff is very friendly, usually greeting you with a smile and saying "Good morning," even when just walking by. No gift shop. Nice selection of sandwiches, sodas when going out for the day. Lucas, the concierge, was awesome. He knew I like Diet Coke and made sure I had one before leaving on a tour. The bar/cafe is iffy--for me. Live music, very loud, and hardly anyone in the cafe ......

"This hotel is huge but too remote from any sightseeing spots. The nearest subway station is 15-20 minutes walk. If you just want to relax and stay at the hotel all the time, it would be nice. There are a gym and a good sized swimming pool with no charge for guests. Room is spacious and comfortable, with a balcony overlooking the lake. Staff are friendly and helpful but only communicate in Chinese. There is no restaurant nearby. "

"The room was clean and modern with a tub even, and great view from high up. The breakfast was simply superb, even if not really a western breakfast. But absolutely worth eating and kept us healthy while in Wuxi."
