"The hotel was excellent however the restaurant not so good. On our first night of two the manager tried to charge us for four extra drinks and if I hadn’t pointed this out we would have been charged. In the second night we booked into the restaurant and were told that out of an already sparse choice, two were unavailable. This was put down to it being a new menu. We left and ate in town"

The breakfast can be in your room and there is so much choice, all delicious. Make sure to book a wine tasting with the Sommeliere, and also for dinner at the restaurant for a unique moment around food and wine. "

"Spacious bathroom, comfortable bed. Lovely view of the castle, good breakfast. The only thing was floor lamp didn’t work, we mentioned it at the reception but never been fixed while we stayed 4 nights. Otherwise all good! "
