"This beautiful property maintains its historic charms and the location can’t be beat. The staff is very accommodating and treats the guests with utmost respect. The furnishings need some good cleaning but of course they are trying to keep the old world style which can be a challenge. Breakfast was lovely and the bar service was top notch. "The room was so bad we did not stay. This hotel shows their top room in a photo and it is a scam as the room we were given was dark, small, with a low ceiling like a cell in a prison. No room for a desk, no jug, no tea making facility, dreadful stone steps to access, bathroom you could hardly turn around in. Decor non existent.We asked for the room in the photo provided with our booking or our money back. They offered us a room that was fairly comparable with a slightly higher ceiling! So...
