"Very positive review coming. We are a couple in our 50s and 60s. Disregard the majority of the negative reviews, they put bad reviews usually of 1 bad incident. "Our Check-in was a bit stressful upon arrival because there are two complexes in the facilities and we were bumped into the alternate building. The room we were assigned was considered an upgrade facing the ocean but was quite small in size, Upon entry we immediately checked to see and found that the AC did not work and the fridge was on the blink. "Hotel Negresco has a wonderful staff who can't do enough to help guests - in several languages! The hotel is spotlessly clean, the food options are varied and delicious. The rooms are well appointed - and the sea views wonderful. My only complaint was the weather - four days of POURING rain - but the hotel is not responsible for that!"

"Being out of season the hotel was very quiet and only one pool open. However the staff couldn’t do enough for us. We were full board and whilst only the main restaurant was open all our food was cooked fresh for us. We were very well looked after and enjoyed our stay."
