"Great week long stay, there’s multiple pools and plenty of sun beds available at any time during the day. Unfortunately we had rain a few days but we were able to utilise the spa which includes a heated indoor pool with sauna and steam room. "Being out of season the hotel was very quiet and only one pool open. However the staff couldn’t do enough for us. We were full board and whilst only the main restaurant was open all our food was cooked fresh for us. We were very well looked after and enjoyed our stay."

"Check in was slow as room wasn't ready even until about 4pm so we had to wait at the lobby for about an hour which was a bummer as we had rushed to end our half day tour by 3pm. Hard to figure out where our room was from the map as we had to head outdoors and identify the right building. "We enjoyed our three day stay. The hotel hosted evening activities for kids which was a plus. The unlimited access to Port Aventura was also nice since you can step out of premises to eat at your hotel or in town (25 min walk) by the beach. Overall, great place and experience that I would repeat. "

"The apartments are fine but very expensive for what they are and the facilities eg although there’s a lovely terrace there are no loungers. The price was 1 to 2 higher than nearby apartments that offered more. On arrival our balcony doors didn’t lock. We called and someone came to check but we had to sleep feeling unsafe. "Lovely place to stay and the staff were very friendly. Nice and quiet too and away from the hustle and bustle of the strip. Would stay here again. Just some small maintenance needed in the apartment as some tiles on the floor were loose but otherwise a great standard. "

"Good for the cheap price. Room is average, has all that it needs, even a fridge which you usually don’t get. Breakfast was ok, had a good selection of cakes and pastries, fridge full of yoghurts and usual Scrambled egg, bacon and beans. No one at the pool due to it being so cold as in shaded area, entertainment was in resort 1 although we didn’t stick around hotel due to many things planned during our stay. It’s in a good area, not too long of a walk to the beach, many restaurants nearby. You have a choice for main beach or there’s a small beach if you go to the left, it all links up and a nice walk. Would definitely go here again for a cheap stay "

"Hotel Negresco has a wonderful staff who can't do enough to help guests - in several languages! The hotel is spotlessly clean, the food options are varied and delicious. The rooms are well appointed - and the sea views wonderful. My only complaint was the weather - four days of POURING rain - but the hotel is not responsible for that!"

"Very positive review coming. We are a couple in our 50s and 60s. Disregard the majority of the negative reviews, they put bad reviews usually of 1 bad incident. Friendly, welcoming arrival, fast efficient reception staff. Everywhere clean and constantly being cleaned. Smiley friendly staff all round. Good facilities for everyone, especially for families. Fantastic waterpark included free. We stayed for half board for one week and the food was very varied. Many theme nights such as Ethnic, Gala, seafood, Mexican etc. Good quality and choice for meat or fish eaters, some varieties for vegetarians and intolerances too. The downstairs Braseria served the best grilled meats and fish in a relaxed and comfortable environment. We had a daily maid service with beds made and fresh towels and general cleaning. Stunning views and beautiful sunsets from the beach. The negatives were that the wifi was not good ( but when is it ever in hotels.?) The indoor pool never looked clean as was used by mostly young children, would've been nice for adults only. Special thanks go to the room cleaning staff, the busy but friendly restaurant staff, Raul in the Braseria and bar manager for his kindness. Finally to Sandra on Guest services. Thank you and best wishes for everything. "
