"Hello, I booked with Travelocity so I could get the Empress Suite which I booked and paid for. They let us know at the last minute we were not able to get that room and downgraded us to a regular suite. Everything was great about the hotel and the stay there, but nothing was offered (even the price difference) for changing the room on us. "Wow! What a find! A delightful hotel with amazing, welcoming staff. I usually stay in central Amsterdam but this is just a couple of stops on the metro and a short walk from the De Pijp metro station and sooooo much nicer. Highly recommended. "

"Great location and room overlooking the canal. The location was quiet yet central. The room was clean and comfortable, and we were upgraded! The kitchen area is fantastic (dual hob, microwave and dishwasher), the bathroom very spacious with a shower and separate huge bath! The bed is very comfortable, and it’s good to know they regularly clean and antibac the mattresses. The guy at reception was very helpful with letting us know the best areas to visit, giving us detailed map information....
