"We had a great stay at the Equatorial. We had kids also and the staff was friendly and helpful (sadly this is not the norm at all 5-star properties in Vietnam, so it was a nice experience). The pool is great, I would recommend a room by the pool. The food was also very food (slightly pricy compared to alternatives, but comparable). I would recommend this hotel as great option for visiting HCMC. "

Staff were friendly and helpful with all that we needed including restaurant recommendations and booking trips. Slightly annoying that having paid in full for our room and providing a credit card for our incidentals we receive a letter in the room demanding that we come to reception to clear the bill on day two. "Easy access right out the door to main shopping/dining/ historic of Saigon by River and Ho Chi Minh Statue. My room was beautiful with huge panoramic view. True 5 star, nice pool, fitness center and staff was very friendly and above Ave for this level of hotel. Definitely recommend it to all "
