"Great facility. Staff were very uneven -- outstanding front desk, simply amazing; restaurant staff did not know what they were providing (after answering incorrectly, the manager -- at least I think she was... pink business suit -- argued with me sure she was right, then lapsed into "fake Thai" like she couldn't speak English anymore and merely repeated what she had said earlier "we have -- you order"). I have stayed here before, and I see where they have tried to upgrade their restaurant but...

"Most of the guests are Chinese.Everything there is written in Chinese. It did not feel like I sas in Thailand, it felt like I was visting China. That said, the room was nice though a bit dated. They demanded a 1000 BHT cash deposit even though I booked it will a credit card. The had me wait while they checked the room before the returnes the cash to me at checkout… I found that part off putting. The lobby chandeliers wew beutiful."
