"It is a good stay overall. However, a female, who appeared to be in a senior position or manager for morning breakfast, was very uncheerful, unhappy and hostile. She had no smile or happy face and looked to be unhappy with her job. She is the person who is in the wrong job. Apart from facing her unhappy face in the morning breakfast, the services are good."

"We had a great stay at the Equatorial. We had kids also and the staff was friendly and helpful (sadly this is not the norm at all 5-star properties in Vietnam, so it was a nice experience). The pool is great, I would recommend a room by the pool. The food was also very food (slightly pricy compared to alternatives, but comparable). I would recommend this hotel as great option for visiting HCMC. "

"It was a huge property. We stayed at the three bedroom unit. Everything was good just not super luxurious. Very utilitarian. The unit itself is kind of weirdly decorated no art on the walls except for like two paintings. The kitchen didn’t put the fridge in it. It was just randomly in the dining room all in all good place, but also remember that the bathroom had a huge drop from the shower kind of dangerous"

"A really beautiful property with excellent staff and service, s as nd a really central location, they did have a problem with moisture control on the 30th floor (not sure about other floors) our sheets were damp on the 1st night there appears to be no extraction, they did install a dehum which in one day would fill the tank with about 3 lt of water, overall did not impact our stay too much, but for such an upmarket hotel is something that needs looking at for future guests.
