"Check in was good, I had said 3 adults ( expecting a double and single bed in the room. The receptionist informed us that it was a sofa bed and not for an adult, there was no rooms available to book another room. However it wasn’t too bad but I think to check in future that it definitely caters for 3 adults. The staff were friendly and facilities were great, good parking and good location "

"Our first stay in this Hotel and it didn’t disappoint. Friendly staff from the start, check in was a breeze. Security lock to the rooms so only guests have access as the bar and restaurant is open to the public. Room was great, had a balcony overlooking the main high street was a nice surprise. We had an evening meal there, good choice on the menu, again service was excellent. Following morning we had a breakfast, great selection, choice of cooked items as well as the cereal selections."

However, after the room was cleaned on the second night, our bedroom door was left open and consequently not secure. There was no additional security between the bar and the bedroom so anybody could have just walked in. What made this worse was the attitude of the gentleman behind the bar who I spoke to about this. "We had a very pleasant three night stay at the Bull, the rooms are all different and decorated in various styles. The courtyard is potentially a very attractive space to sit, drink, eat and socialise, however it was a tad chilly during our stay and it needed a thorough tidy up to realise its full potential.
