"This place is a long way from Yangzhou, about 40min. Pictured are misleading, as it is on a dry river bed, not on the Li river. Once you get over the shock of being so remote actually the service is very friendly, beautiful hiking and amazing rooms. The pool is only in use over the summer months. A great place to get away from the noise for a couple of nights. Bi far away from Yangzhou activities. "

"My friends and I stayed here for 3 nights. The rooms were dingy and dirty. The shower drain was clogged with hair so our shower water wouldn't drain and would flood the entire bathroom. The air conditioning was weak and couldn't cool down the room (Guilin can get extremely hot and humid, so AC is pretty important). "Moon Villa provided quite possibly the best customer service that I've ever had from a hotel in recent memory! They catered to our every need and offered excellent care from before arrival through departure. The resort is perfectly situated in the scenic part of Yangshou and just a few km from downtown (which is easily accessible by bike or free shuttle van.
