"Hotel was lovely, the privilege room was very nice, would definitely stay again. However access from the car park was a pain. I also paid for parking and they sold the space to someone else so I had to pay in a public car park elsewhere. They also didn't check me in when I arrived. I came back that night and they had no record of me even though my stuff was in the room and I had a key. They were friendly and helpful sorting it, but having issues in the first place was a pain."

"Booked to stay for our anniversary weekend. Just somewhere away from the hustle and bustle of home. Found this place online and liked the look of it. It turned out to be an excellent choice. It’s a really lovely little hotel and the staff are all really lovely and welcoming. Breakfast was lovely, good quality sausage, bacon and eggs! There are a couple of bits of touching up that need doing in the suite we were in. There could also be an improvement on sound proofing between the upstairs...

"Excellent service, best we've had in ages, friendly, well trained and efficient. Food was very good. Room was ok, but bed and pillows too hard for us. Wardrobe was ancient. Bathroom was good, well decorated and everything worked well."
