"We stayed here to see Christmas markets in Cologne. The hotel was very clean and comfortable. Staff was very nice. Location was not really directly near the center of the city action, however it was a ten minute walk to the train into Cologne. We also used the gym. It was very basic, but worked. Our only complaint was the room being too hot (in December)."

"Close to the Train Station, about a 7 min walk. 4 min to Beethoven birth house. Location was great and easy walking distances to most sites and all the Christmas markets."

"Room was wonderful and the breakfast was good. We were not impressed with having to walk around the neighborhood to get to our room. The spa was confusing not knowing how to get around it from our room and we were not told we could access the breakfast restaurant through the sauna area and walked completely around the block, in the cold, to eat breakfast. "SEHR GUT !! Great location. There is a parking garage right next door. Fairly close to train station. Shopping and transportation very close. Rewe grocery store around the corner. Hard Rock Cafe is close by as well. You can get access to a gym nearby as well. "

"The hotel very close to train station like 9 minutes walk. The Christmas markets right in front of the hotel. Beautiful city and very safe. Everyone friendly. Very quiet at night after 10pm. Slept very good."

Despite advising them 2 times that we couldn’t check in until the morning after our reservation we were made to feel like we we causing them a problem when we arrived ‘late’. One of the days there was no hot water and our coffee machine was kaput! "
