"Excellent hotel. The neighborhood has a famous bier hall with an excellent menu. Very friendly. The rest of the neighborhood is somewhat drab, but not dangerous or anything. Metro system close by and a few stops from Marienplatz."

"Had an unusual issue with our door not shutting all the way but they fixed it immediately! Gentleman at the front desk was very prompt and took our concerns very seriously even though he was busy with the hotel being sold out. Lots of good food, shopping, transport, and sights just a short walk away."

"Staff were helpful (in English) giving advice on navigating local buses to get to trains etc which was valuable given we’d never been in Munich before. Room was just as advertised - no problems to speak of. "

"Lovely new hotel close to the city center. Just a couple of mins walk to train and tram and only a few stops. Flave is a restaurant situated in hotel. Breakfast is great and worth purchasing plenty of options. Very clean modern and efficient. Would stay here again."

"We had a fabulous stay at this hotel. The young lady at check in was so friendly and welcoming. Check in was quick and easy. Our room was a very good size and so clean! They even upgraded our room which was a massive bonus so thank you for that. Breakfast was great as well. Loads of choice and all very tasty and fresh. "very nice boutique hotel on the Northern edge of the old town. Just a 5 min walk to Marion Platz. Close to many good restaurants and shopping as well as historic buildings. A large and very pleasant park is just a short walk away. Our room was large, clean, and quiet. The bed was a little uncomfortable for my wife. Mattress may need replacing. Amenities were good, breakfast was very good, hotel was clean and up to date. Staff was cheerful and efficient. We would stay again. Have fun!"

"I wanted to stay in a German hotel, so I chose Mövenpick Hotel München Airport in Hallbergmoos. It was rated a Four Stars hotel, but was actually Three Stars. It lacked the high end feel and amenities usually part of a Four Star stay. The Star rating is different than a Four Star Review. The front office staff was very helpful, spoke English and very accommodating. They provided an adapter since I'd forgotten mine. I had premier room, so it was spacious. I couldn't get the room comfortably...

"When traveling to Munich, I was more concerned about location than amenities and when I decided to stay at Platzl Hotel, I didn’t expect much for what I paid in comparison to other hotels nearby. What an amazing find and I would recommend for anyone to stay here. It’s such a great value based on its location and amenities. The room is extremely clean, there’s excellent service, a lively bar downstairs and a sauna after a cold, wintry day. It’s in Marienplatz and therefore close to the subway line, but completely walkable with tons of restaurants and high end boutiques for some retail therapy. I’m extremely happy with this hotel. We would love to stay here again. "
