"I used to live in Orsett and knew the old Orsett Hall. I like how the rebuild has remained faithful to the original. As the new hotel it is clean and reasonably comfortable, with nice sized rooms and two dining options. The grounds are nicely laid out and pleasant to walk in, and it is fairly quiet, except for when there’s a wedding, though the noise did not go on too late. It is unfortunate that the bath/shower combinations are so deep, as that makes it a little dangerous for the short and less...

"This is an excellent pub. The service was exceptional, the food was very good and the ambience and atmosphere fantastic. This is a characterful old building with lots of books and crannies. Good beer too. The accommodation is good - a little like motel accommodation at the back of the pub in separate purpose-built buildings. It was comfortable and suited our needs well. Would definitely return. "
