"The property was lovely and we had a stunning view of the garden and lake from our balcony. The main patio off reception is gorgeous with seating areas and a fire - which was a bonus as it was chilly. The property is right on the promenade that takes you to the main strip. It's about a 10 minute walk along the promenade but the walk is beautiful next to the lake. "

"Stay was excellent. I note though there tends to be some older guests like us...thus, in the btahrooms more rails are needed and for those of us who like a shower you should be provided with a rubber bath mat so you don't slip."

"In overall, this is the Best Hotel during my 6 weeks European vacation. We reserved regular room with lake view and Hotel gave us free upgraded Deluxe Room. The fantastic view from balcony was speechless and caused us to come back to stay another night on the way back. Hotel has a beautiful spa with very reasonable rate (€15/ hour) & plenty of free parking spaces. I want to say special thanks to Walter & Thelma. ^^ We really enjoyed to stay~ "

"Great location in central Avoriaz and could literally snowboard back to the door. The terrace is fantastic and a great place to sit, drink beers / cocktails and enjoy the food that is put on. Dinner / breakfast, v good. Board room had good boot driers."

Restaurant at the hotel nice with very good food, room just like all other big chain hotels so for the price of 200 plus CHF without breakfast a little overpriced. "

"Very chill and cozy hotel. Staff are very sweet and helpful, but also not overly bearing. They stay in the background as much as possible. Not overly formal as you get in many hotels. Spa is very good, with good jacuzzi, nice little pool and good sauna and Hamman. Breakfast was also good, a mixture of everything; bacon and eggs, hard boiled if you want. "Hotel Victoria is around a 3 minute walk from Glion station (cog train from Montreux train station which takes around 12 mins). Stunning views from our lakeside room. Room 3 has an interconnecting door to Room 2 and is not particularly well soundproofed. Due to health issues with our neighbour, little sleep was had on the first night. However, staff were able to move us to a different room for our second night which was appreciated. Hotel and restaurant were full on Christmas Eve. I was...

"We arrived after 1400, reception staff Mon existent. A cleaner helped us inside via the restaurant, still no reception staff! 10 mins later a member of staff arrived. Room not ready, no chance to eat in restaurant as full that evening. Other hotel restaurant in vicinity also full. Advised to go into Clusaz and try our look there! Balcony had 'view' of blank 2 storey wall, not hills or lake as detailed. Hotel is undergoing extension building works to finish in June 19."
