"Really friendly staff and a warm atmosphere. The bar area was very relaxing. Great big comfy sofas. The room was pleasant. Tiny shower room. Comfortable bed. The pillows were really firm and i couldnt work out which were meant to be the soft option. The decor was ok in the room. Could do with a freshen up. It was clean. The pool was really nice. "I llke staying at this hotel as it very quiet and not over crowded like the London Road branch. I was fined £60 at the London Road branch for just enquiring if they had a room that evening which they had'nt so I will never stay there again Regards Peter C. Locke"

"Staff excellent special thanks to reception who sorted out an access problem. Breakfast extremely good. Room very clean but bedside table tatty which was a shame. Would have benefitted from a coffee table and larger tv."

"Lovely one night stay. Unfortunately had a call 10 minutes before we arrived to say the jacuzzi had broken down & would be out of use. We had a 3 coarse meal that was absolutely amazing! Complements to the chef! Only down side - we thought drinks were over priced at £12 for a large glass of wine."

"Great room on first floor of barn. Bed very soft but ok. Good food, lovely staff. Internet in pub and room not working as very poor signal. Being picky, some areas of bathroom paintwork could do with thorough clean or repaint...back of door and handle particularly. Would definitely use again. Superb breakfast. "

"Very nice place great location. Staff very attentive and friendly. Food was excellent lots of choice including breakfast options. Room was spacious but think it maybe a little warm in summer months as no air conditioning. Overall stay excellent will definitely return and recommend to friends"
